| The 106 mm recoilless gun is a light and rugged weapon capable of firing from the ground or mounted on a jeep. Employed primarily in the anti-tank role for which it is uses the hollow charge HEAT ammunition, it is adaptable to other missions in the battle field. A .50" spotting rifle M8C, mounted coaxially above the RCL, fires special spotter-tracer ammunition enabling accurate laying of the RCL to ensure first round hit on enemy tank/target. |
