MULTIPLE ELEMENT NET ASSEMBLY

USE

MENA is used as a sub-assembly of the aircraft arrester barrier system installed across both the ends of run-way to engage an aircraft in emergency, overshooting the runway during landing or aborted take-off.

The Barrier Net called Multiple Element Net Assembly (MENA) is used in conjunction with different types of Aircraft Gear Systems, at Air Fields in India. Multi Element Nets are manufactured in different variants depending upon the Energy Absorber system and capacity of aircraft.
